Newsweek Names Alpharus Health the Best Residential Addiction Treatment Center in Illinois for 2026

Four Alpharus Health treatment centers were recognized among Newsweek's 2026 Top 10 Residential Addiction Treatment Centers in Illinois

Chicago, IL, Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alpharus Health, formerly Gateway Foundation, is proud to announce that four of its facilities have been recognized in Newsweek's 2026 America's Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers rankings. Alpharus Health's Lake Villa, Springfield, Aurora, and Chicago Independence locations all earned top 10 rankings in Newsweek's list but Chicago Independence garnered the state's top ranking as the #1 residential addiction treatment center in Illinois. 

The rankings include:
